Concept Art: Lea1

First: Meh. I'm lazy and haven't felt like colouring in the background. Forgive me, kay?
Second: There is a backsory to this piece. It involved a rather long discussion over YahooPager about what we thought the OXIII member's Somebodies had been in real life. Some were purposely amusing, some we actually put thought into. (If you can call what goes on in the brains of fangirls 'thought') Axel we took our time with. A fanfiction (or premise thereof) was born. We liked the name Lea, even though it's pretty girly. (better than Ale.) Next, we figured from some evidence that Axel's pretty good with electronics. (go fig.) So we set Lea up as a mechanic and robot manufacturer in Radiant Garden. Roxas entered the picture. Memories Ahoy. Random fondling. Poof, yaoi. Good times had by all.
Third: Wow. I'm very proud of this pic. I really took my time with the shading of it. It was simply concept art to try and make my ideas more real, and now....well there's a bunch of random Lea art in my binder now. I realize he looks....yeah, not very different from Axel...but did you really expect me to change up a character that hot to any great extent?? Heck, add in eye tattoos and you've got Insta-Axel. Is that a bad thing, really?? (Roxas thought not.)
